Quick Access Steps

How to Get Started:

  • Register for the course and submit payment.

  • Check your email (from Instructure) within 48–72 hours for the Canvas link.

  • Complete the course within two weeks.

  • Receive your certificate via email within 48 hours after completion.

Tip: Check your spam/junk folder if the Canvas email doesn’t appear.

Step 3

Course Completion

Once you are enrolled in the course, the training is self-paced and can be completed on your own schedule within the two-week timeframe. Be sure to complete all modules in their entirety and successfully pass the Code of Ethics Test with a score of 80% or higher.


Step 4

Certificate of Completion

After course completion is processed (within 48 hours), participants will receive a certificate of completion via email.


 

Code of Ethics for Educators

The Code of Ethics for Educators defines the professional behavior of educators in Georgia and serves as a guide to ethical conduct. The Professional Standards Commission has adopted standards that represent the conduct generally accepted by the education profession. The code defines unethical conduct justifying disciplinary sanction and provides guidance for protecting the health, safety and general welfare of students and educators, and assuring the citizens of Georgia a degree of accountability within the education profession.
