Teacher Alternative Preparation Program
Getting Started with TAPP
1) This website gives you the step-by-step eligibility requirements: www.gapsc.com/EducatorPreparation/GaTapp/requirements/requirements_home.asp
2) You can also complete a Pre-TAPP candidate application and submit it to Dr. Angie Davis at Southwest Georgia RESA or gather the information together and get an appointment with your local RESA representative: http://www.swresa.org/Georgia_RESAs.html .
3) If you send your Pre-TAPP application to Southwest RESA, your credentials will be examined and you will be notified concerning your eligibility for TAPP.
4) You also need to go to the TeachGa Website and submit an application, which most school systems accept: http://www.teachgeorgia.org/.
